On August 6th, 2003, At the age of 33, I had a major motorcycle accident.After being flown by helicopter to Stony Brook hospital and 9 hours of intense surgery, I was placed into ICU on life support with major injuries.My injuries consisted of a broken left femur, broken left tibia, broken left fibula, broke the patella (knee cap), torn ligaments, broken right wrist, shattered left wrist, collapsed lungs and a broken nose, along with some minor issues.  I was hospitalized for a month and 3 weeks.   When I was able to come home I was in a wheel chair for six months with in home therapists assisting me in several areas that were needed.   After six months of continuous therapy, I was finally able to start walking I had a severe limp even after all the ligament graphs,(PCL) posterior Cruciate Ligament transplants and bone operations that were performed. After losing my insurance I decided to go back to the gym. Luckily with my new membership I received a free half hour session with a personal trainer, and was referred to Stacy. When I met Stacy I told her of my injuries. She had explained to me the importance of what I needed to do.  Without that knowledge, I would have been doing the wrong exercises and would have injured myself more. With her knowledge I have made great gains and continue to improve everyday.
I have been working with Stacy, (My personal trainer) who has given me great gains in muscle, strength and mind.   Her enthusiasm and techniques and have helped me tremendously.  Since working with Stacy, I have built up inches, strength and power in my body, legs and thought to be as determined now as I was then.  At this time, I have very little limp when I walk and much strength more now then ever.  Stacy is a pleasure to work with.  I have succeeded tremendously in my abilities to stay determined in what I need to do to have a normal life once again.

My name is Alan, and I have been Training at Wanda’s for quite some time. I had never before used a Trainer’s advice before, and it was not until I was referred to Stacy Moutafis that I even had considered it. I had asked several People around the gym, and Stacy was the one that everyone had recommended to help me make a serious change in my overall health and Physical shape. Salley tried many times to loose weight using Weight Watchers, LA Weight Loss, South Beach, and others but she always wound up gaining the weight right back.  She developed type 2 diabetes and decided it was time to make some changes.  She happened to meet Stacy at the gym one day, and decided to try the Pure Diets philosophy.  Salley has lost 30 lbs and has kept it off for almost 1 year.  She has been able to cut her medicine in half while maintaining excellent blood sugar levels.  Her doctor was impressed.  Salley started weight training with Stacy and has felt the results
